  8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
• 3+ years of professional HVAC Tech experience and knowledge in the construction field
• OSHA 30‑hour construction certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Work at heights and climb ladders
• Work in confined spaces
• Work in high temperatures
• Work in a noisy environment
• Work may involve potential hazardous exposures such as asbestos, machine parts, soot, dirt, grease, chemicals, oil, and fumes
• Ability to function safely while wearing a respirator – work requiring an OSHA‑approved respirator and proper fit tested
• Standing and bending for long periods of time
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus
• Completed credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and checking system performance
• Inspect HVAC systems for wear and tear and efficiency
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems; replace faulty components like motors, compressors, and thermostats
• Monitor and adjust central air conditioning systems to ensure optimal environmental control for patient care areas; maintain indoor air quality by ensuring proper ventilation and humidity control
• Work closely with other maintenance staff and hospital departments to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems
