Pay Rate: $24.20/hour

We are hiring skilled Electricians for a full‑time assignment supporting hospital and campus maintenance operations. This position requires work across the Central Alabama VA campuses as needed and includes routine and emergency electrical support.

• Install new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Maintain secondary power distribution lines and circuits across a range of voltages.
• Provide maintenance for industrial multiphase systems, fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, thermocouple sensors, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hard‑to‑locate electrical defects tied to repairs and installations.
• Use testing and measuring equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, watt meters, meggers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.

• Minimum 3 years of documented electrician experience required.
• Strong knowledge of trade formulas, circuits, power calculations, voltage drop, and current capability.
• Must be able to work safely in heat, noise, confined spaces, and elevated environments.
• OSHA 30‑hour construction training and required PPE compliance are mandatory.
