Electrical Installer Position Summary
The Electrical Installer is responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades in residential and light commercial environments. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electrical systems and codes, demonstrate excellent troubleshooting abilities, and provide professional service while ensuring all work is completed in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
TravelRequirements
Significant travel is required. Employees must own or lease a reliable vehicle, maintain a valid driver's license and insurance coverage, and be willing to travel to customer locations and Branch offices as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Electrical Installation, Repair & Maintenance (100%)- Perform electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance in residential and light commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, wiring, components, and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and company standards.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project status.
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials effectively to ensure job readiness and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites.
- Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, team members, vendors, and management.
- Provide customers with clear explanations of services performed, recommendations, and job progress.
- Keep management informed of work activities, project status, customer concerns, and any significant issues requiring attention.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly, addressing concerns professionally, and maintaining a customer-first mindset.
- Build trust and long-term relationships through quality workmanship, transparency, and professionalism.
- Ensure customers are informed throughout the service process and satisfied upon completion of work.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and industry best practices while performing work.
- Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety measures on every job site.
- Operate personal and company vehicles in accordance with company policies and all applicable motor vehicle laws.
- Maintain compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactions.
- Serve as a positive representative of the organization and its values.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support operational success and customer satisfaction.
- Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills when addressing challenges in the field.

- High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of electrical experience in residential and/or commercial environments.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport and build customer trust.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, mobile applications, and basic computer software.
- Previous customer service and sales experience.
- Experience utilizing tablets, mobile estimating software, or field service management applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be insurable under the company's vehicle insurance program.
- Relevant electrical certifications or licensing preferred where applicable.
