Loyal Source is seeking skilled Painters to support the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) at the Montgomery and Tuskegee campuses.

• Perform coating work using accepted methods, including brushing, rolling, and spraying.
• Apply coating techniques to ensure a smooth decorative appearance while meeting required thickness and finish standards.
• Apply coating materials using brushes, rollers, spray guns, graining devices, and other trade-specific tools.
• Prepare surfaces by smoothing, filling, shaping, and leveling using pumice, rotten stone, metal fillers, and synthetic resins.
• Repair and alter paintable interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and doors.
• Remove wallpaper and prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools common to the painting trade.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a painter.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

• Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in temperatures exceeding 100°F.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and wear required hearing protection.
• Ability to work around potentially hazardous materials and conditions, including chemicals, oils, fumes, dirt, grease, and machinery.
• Ability to wear and safely work while using an OSHA-approved respirator and pass fit testing requirements.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 Certification
