Established in 2013, Sequel Youth and Family Services at Montgomery is a licensed and academically accredited 20-bed residential treatment facility. The program specializes in treating adolescent females with maladaptive sexual concerns and/or behavioral disorders. The campus is located in Montgomery, AL.

The Job

We are seeking talented individuals to help drive the success of youth in our communities. As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide direct supervision to all adolescent females ages 12
-18. You will serve as a role model and provide support & structure to the residents in our care.

Daily Duties

• Supervise residents in their daily routines providing rewards and consequences as prescribed by our behavior management system
• Maintain routine order on dorm unit and during activities
• Address group concerns according to Positive Peer Culture standards and elicit positive change for residents
• Complete assessments, reviews and other documentation in a timely manner

Must Haves

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
• Over the age of 21
• Maturity, empathy and patience
• A minimum of one-year experience working with at risk youth in a juvenile setting or related setting
