Auburn University at Montgomery Campus Police Department invites applications for a part-time Police Dispatcher.
All employees at AUM are considered to be Responsible Employees and have the duty to immediately report information that has the potential to adversely impact safety or wellness on our campus. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires public educational institutions to collect and maintain certain safety and crime information. Due to the role this position plays on our campus, this position has been identified as being a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
CSAs are individuals designated by the University with responsibility for supervising or ensuring safety of others (including student employees in the course of their employment duties) and have a duty to report crimes observed or reported to them.

Responsibilities include:
- Receive, relay, and/or transmit routine and emergency calls to police, fire, and other public agencies.
- Maintain log of radio transmissions, telephone calls, and other information.
- Maintain incident reports of criminal activity or complaints; assist in ticket administration.
- Monitor fire alarm system.
- Issue parking decals.
Qualifications include education equivalent to completion of high school.
