Purpose Of The PositionThe Research Associate provides support for UAS general development, including digital defense techniques and security.
Duties/Responsibilities- Serve as an Engineer for UAS general development, including digital defense techniques and security
- Develop and maintain integration of UAS AI/ML software and supporting hardware
- Maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware
- Support hands-on testing updates for UAS operations and software functions
- Support program and technical interchange meetings
- Bachelor's degree with 66 - 72 months (5.5 - 6 years) of full-time work experience.
- Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs
- C++, Python, Java
- Ability to develop and integrate AI/ML software into supporting hardware for the
- Experience working within an Academic Environment at UAH
- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience or Masters Degree in a computer engineering, scientific, or aviation management field
- Strong interest in computational geometry
- Ability to think logically in the algorthimic development for computational statistical analysis
