Railcar Prep​/Inspector

Position Summary

As part of an award‑winning team in the logistics industry, you will perform the essential cleaning and inspection functions necessary to prepare railcars for transport.

• Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
• Inspect and assist in opening and closing railcar end doors
• Inspect railcars for damage/fatigue
• Identify repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services
• Through the use of backpack blowers and various scraping devices remove all debris and other contaminants which could potentially cause vehicle damage
• Maintain accountability and maintenance for all assigned equipment
• Perform housekeeping duties as required by Management

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Safety‑first mentality
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Team‑work, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Valid state driver’s license
