Shift: First Shift (United States of America).

• Load, unload, pick-up, and deliver routine and emergency supplies for Baptist Health facilities.
• Pick-up and deliver non-routine supplies from local businesses.
• Work with leadership and departments to ensure the most efficient use of the courier service.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Use of materials handling equipment.
• Ability to drive a vehicle.
• Operate pickup trucks, minivans, panel vans and trucks up to 28 feet in length.
• Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible with work assignments.
• Perform work with minimal errors.
• Good customer service skills.

• Sitting for 50% of the workday; mobility for 50% of the workday.
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
• Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds; pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
• Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
• Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
• Mostly protected from weather conditions, but 30% of work time is spent outdoors; tolerance to outdoor weather, hot and cold conditions required.
• Occasional exposure to computer work.
• Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
• Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job related tasks.
• Some exposure to hazardous chemicals; occasional exposure to radiation.
