This is a full‑time, flex‑schedule, onsite role at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, AL.

The Vehicle Operator drives assigned vehicles to transport authorized personnel or cargo. Duties include driving vehicles from loading areas to destinations, training locations, or other directed sites. The role requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with “P” and “S” endorsements and a current medical card. Responsibilities include acting as a bus aide during school runs, participating in the DOT Program, and maintaining a professional appearance.

• Drive assigned vehicles transporting passengers and cargo within and outside the military installation.
• Operate a variety of vehicle types including cars, trucks, vans, and buses.
• Act as a bus aide on school runs when children are present.
• Operate radio or similar devices for communication.
• Clean vehicles and service them with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Keep accurate records of trips and passenger behavior.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Complete vehicle operator inspection documentation.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip procedures and required documentation.
• Report all vehicle discrepancies immediately.
• Participate in the DOT program.
• Present a professional appearance and work a flexible schedule.
• Accept all dispatched runs as required mission support.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with “P” and “S” endorsements.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Completion of refresher training as required.
• CPR/First aid certification.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
• U.S. citizenship.
