County-wide School Bus Driver; initially Hollywood

Jackson County Board of Education announces the following vacancy. Applications should be submitted through the hiretrue Website. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.

School/Worksite: County-wide (initially located at Hollywood School)

Title: School Bus Driver

• Perform pre-trip inspection
• Meet all safety standards
• Attend re-certification class annually
• Submit to random drug testing
• Bring the bus in for inspection monthly
• Attend a professional development workshop for two days each year
• Be responsible for contacting the bus garage if problems arise
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the bus
• Complete and submit the school bus disciplinary report to the principal as necessary
• Responsible for maintaining and submitting a monthly driver's report
• Perform two emergency evacuation drills each year
• Any other essential functions assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee

• High School Diploma or GED
• Commercial Driver's License with the Alabama State Department of Education
• School Bus Driver's Certification
