Video/Acme Ryder Partnership

• Average weekly pay: $1,200
• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Paid training
• Up to $2,400 in annual bonuses
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, some Saturdays during peak periods
• Start time: 5:00 AM dispatch

• Deliver SOLO around Montgomery and surrounding areas (Home Daily route)
• Tractor type:
  Day cab, must be able to drive manual
• Trailer type:
  Flatbed (preferred, will train)
• Equipment:
  Truck-mounted forklift (pref., will train)
• Ryder provides training on all needed equipment
• Freight: load securement – strapping (no tarp)
• Freight: touch – brick and building materials

• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO in first year, starting day 1 (use it or get paid for it)
• Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided
• Drivers are the captain – you make safety decisions, and job is protected

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Some positions may require additional screening such as employment and education verification; motor‑vehicle records check; a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer assigned.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
