Pay Range: $17-$32 per hour (Based on Experience)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher with at least 5 year of dispatching experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating over 85 drivers, scheduling deliveries and pickups, monitoring freight movement, and ensuring timely and efficient transportation operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor routes and shipment progress to ensure on-time performance.
• Communicate with drivers regarding load information, route updates, and delivery instructions.
• Track shipments using transportation management systems (TMS), GPS, and other logistics software.
• Resolve transportation issues, delays, and customer service concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, driver logs, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with customers, warehouses, brokers, and carriers to ensure effective freight movement.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
• Assist with load planning and capacity management.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication at all times.

Required:

• Minimum 5 year of dispatching experience in logistics, transportation, trucking, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Preferred:

• Experience with freight brokerage, trucking operations, or transportation logistics.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
• Experience with GPS tracking systems and TMS platforms.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with drivers, customers, and vendors.
• Effective time management and workload prioritization.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle urgent situations professionally.
• Strong customer service orientation.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and radio systems.
• Occasionally required to work extended hours during peak operational periods.
