Pepsi Co Beverages Category Manager
This role will help lead the Strategy and Business Intelligence support on selected categories on the Pepsi Co Beverage Kroger Category Leadership team. The primary objectives of this role are to drive accelerated growth, market share gains, and elevated customer partnership via Shopper/Customer Insights. Key accountabilities include leading the shopper and consumer insights support for Kroger and Pepsi Co Joint Business Planning, Internal Pepsi Co Initiatives and for discovering new opportunities to drive future business growth.
Responsibilities- Work across Pepsi Co and Kroger teams to lead transformational big bets initiatives on the selected Pepsi Co Beverage businesses
- Help lead insights partnership for the development, implementation and tracking of the Joint Business Plan with Kroger and the Pepsi Co Beverages Annual Operating Plan
- Ensure insights and plans drive category growth, market share expansion and financial plan success
- Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business with focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing and displays
- Utilize information from multiple sources such as 84.51 Stratum, OnDemand, Circana POS, Circana Panel, Numerator and internal research to identify opportunities and develop growth strategies
- Develop into a subject matter expert in using 84.51 Stratum to understand the Kroger shopper and how strategies impact their shopper behaviors
- Develop strong working relationships with Kroger, 84.51, PLM, Internal Pepsi Co teams and all relevant business partners
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 - 5 years’ experience across CPG and Category Management preferred
- Proficiency in shopper data and analytics
- Thorough understanding of Circana and/or Nielsen syndicated POS and Panel data
- Preferred experience with Kroger’s OnDemand (Market
6) data, 84.51 Stratum and the KOMPASS process - Well versed in Microsoft suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Comfortable and desiring to present at the Senior Executive Level
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Strong project management skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment
