The Mortgage Document Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Montgomery, OH. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing mortgage-related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Daily activities include coordinating with loan officers and processors, verifying data and legal language in loan files, organizing and maintaining document records, and resolving discrepancies or missing information.

The specialist will also communicate with internal teams and, when needed, customers or external partners to clarify documentation requirements and support an efficient, high-quality mortgage closing process.

• Strong document preparation skills, including experience with mortgage or financial document preparation and legal document preparation.
• Proficiency in document management and document review, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling loan files.
• Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Familiarity with mortgage lending processes, regulatory requirements, and basic legal terminology related to home loans.
• Ability to work on-site in Montgomery, OH, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid computer skills, including experience with document management systems and standard office software.
• Prior experience in banking, closing, document creation, mortgage lending, or a related financial services role is preferred.
• Additional education or relevant certifications in finance, banking, or paralegal studies are a plus.
