  • Full-time (72 hours biweekly)

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Allied Health
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
  • Radiologic Technologist, AART state license
  • Experience with Fluoroscopy, C-arm, OR, ERCPs, Trauma, Digital Radiography, Portable X-ray equipment, Radiation Safety

Job Overview

Under the direction of the Radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, the radiologic technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Technologists are trained in services such as Fluoroscopy, OR, ERCP, Digital Radiography, Portable X-ray equipment, and Dexa Scans. The position aims to produce quality images with the lowest possible radiation exposure and to maintain compliance with department policies, infection prevention procedures, accurate recordkeeping, radiation safety, student education, orientation of new employees, quality assurance, equipment care, and other duties as assigned.

The role requires maintaining ARRT and ODH licensure as needed by the state of Ohio and ongoing continuing education.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide for patient, family, and staff comfort and care before, during, and after a procedure.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
  • Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
  • Complete work before submitting it.
  • Consistently produce and evaluate quality diagnostic exams for radiologic interpretation.
  • Demonstrate organizational and communication skills to promote the well-being of the department.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members.
  • Engage in ongoing continuous competency experiences (CBE's) and stay updated on equipment and procedures.
  • Select proper imaging protocols and follow departmental procedures.
  • Perform competency evaluations of technical personnel.
