Registered Nurse - Med Surg Ortho/Neuro
Full Time Day Shift - Tri Health Bethesda North Hospital - $5k Sign-On Bonus!
Location: 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242
Work Schedule: Full Time Days (72 hours bi-weekly); 7:00am – 7:30pm;
Every 3rd weekend rotation;
Holiday rotation.
- Perform and document initial and ongoing patient/family assessments.
- Develop, communicate, and update individualized plans of care, including discharge planning.
- Provide safe, patient-centered care that supports autonomy, dignity, and diversity.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies and take appropriate clinical action.
- Carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete assigned care and documentation within required time frames.
- Administer medications/treatments safely and perform technical skills per policy.
- Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members.
- Serve as a clinical resource and support training/education of staff and students.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and adhere to organizational and departmental standards.
- Function in relief charge/resource roles as requested.
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
- BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- Registered Nurse
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various life stages
- Preferred membership in related professional organization
- RNs with more than 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time acute care experience
- Preferred certification in specialty
