Work Schedule- Part Time - (48 hours bi-weekly)
- Full Time - (72 hours bi-weekly)
- 7pm - 7:30am Night Shift
- 7am - 7:30pm Day Shift
- 3rd Weekend rotation
- 3rd Holiday rotation
As a registered nurse in the Bethesda North Telemetry Float Pool, you’ll bring sharp clinical judgment, adaptability, and confidence to a wide range of fast‑paced patient care settings. You’ll rotate between multiple telemetry and medical‑surgical units—supporting diverse patient populations with complex cardiac and medical needs while stepping in during peak demand. This role is dynamic, collaborative, and highly impactful, giving you the opportunity to expand your telemetry expertise and make a meaningful difference across the hospital every shift.

Hourly Incentives & Bonus- $8/hr Float Incentive
- $4/hr Night Shift Premium for Part time
- $6/hr Night Shift Premium for Full time
- $4/hr Night Shift Differential
- $2,500 Sign on Bonus for Part time
- $5,000 Sign on Bonus for Full time
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
- 2 Years of Critical Care Experience
- BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- Registered Nurse credential
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
- Preferred membership in related professional organization
- Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family, completes initial assessment tool, documents ongoing assessment per unit/Tri Health guidelines, and communicates findings to other health care providers.
- Plans care for patient and family based on assessment, standards of care, and optimal outcomes.
- Initiates and individualizes appropriate patient care guidelines/plan of care or clinical pathways.
- Updates current plan of care as needed based on patient/family input and health care needs.
- Develops short‑ and long‑term goals with patient/family and health care team, including discharge planning.
- Communicates plan of care to others.
- Provides a safe, therapeutic environment, maintains patient’s autonomy, dignity, and rights, and is sensitive to patient diversity.
- Balances priorities of the patient’s needs and those of the unit/facility.
- Recognizes emergency situations and takes appropriate action.
- Completes patient assignment including documentation within scheduled timeframe.
- Bases interventions on clinical data and desired outcomes and documents accordingly.
- Trains/educates other staff and acts as expert resource in specialty area.
- Effectively communicates and understands/executes physician orders.
- Evaluates the plan of care for patient based on optimal outcomes.
- Documents patient/family response to care including teaching.
- Collaborates with patient/family and with other health care team members to revise plan of care as needed.
- Supervises care delegated to other health care team members.
- Performs technical skills according to policy and procedure and accepted standards within their area of practice.
- Safely administers medications/treatments and monitors their effects.
- Uses all equipment in a safe, appropriate manner.
- Demonstrates organization responsibilities: identifies areas for self‑improvement, functions in relief charge/resource role as requested, completes assignments within scheduled time frames, cooperates with instructor to facilitate effective learning experiences for students, maintains current knowledge, and demonstrates knowledge of organizational and department changes.
