Graduate Assistant - Academic Advising

Graduate Assistant Position

Perform basic reception duties including greeting visitors and students. Answer telephone, direct calls, and take messages, as needed. Data entry or basic word processing using Microsoft Word and/or Excel occasionally, as needed. Contact students identified through the UAM Academic Alert system. Refer students to appropriate academic resources. Assist with registration and retention efforts as needed. Pickup and/or deliver campus mail daily.

May be necessary to run errands across campus throughout the day as needed. Keep lobby area, GA office and desk clean and in an orderly manner. Sort and distribute campus mail and other correspondence as needed.

Completed an undergraduate degree program (bachelor's degree)
