Summary ofJob Duties:
The University Supervisor supports candidates enrolled in a one-year supervised residency by providing ongoing clinical supervision and evaluation. Supervisors travel to partner school districts where candidates are completing their residencies and conduct a minimum of three formal observations per semester. Each observation cycle includes:
• A pre-conference to review lesson planning and instructional goals
• A formal classroom observation
• A post-conference focused on feedback, reflection, and professional growth
This position is a semester-to-semester appointment and requires collaboration with mentor teachers and program faculty to ensure candidate success and alignment with program expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Arkansas teaching license
- Minimum of three years of P–12 teaching experience
- Completion of Cognitive Coaching training
- Completion of TESS (Teacher Excellence and Support System) training
Salary Information: $5,000.00 - $7,500.00
