Faculty - Tenure/Tenure Track Position
University of Arkansas at Monticello, one of twenty campuses of the University of Arkansas System, is located in southeastern Arkansas in the beautiful timberlands, rich in outdoor recreation activities, and approximately 100 miles south of Little Rock. UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master's degree programs.

Summary ofJob Duties:
Responsibilities include collaborating with peers and the SON dean to develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum, participating in theoretical and clinical instruction, team teaching, academic advising and counseling, maintaining security and confidentiality of all records and exams, attending and participating in meetings, adhering to course objectives and program outcomes, using current instructional resources, maintaining appropriate records regarding student evaluation and progress, maintaining office hours for student consultation, selecting appropriate clients for students' clinical experiences, assisting in the development of standards for the admission, progression, and graduation of nursing students, serving as a professional role model for students, participating in the activities of the total faculty, developing effective working relationships, participating in professional and community activities, submitting goals and objectives including plans for faculty development, furnishing evidence of TB skin test, CPR certification, and an unencumbered Arkansas or compact agreement state RN license on renewal, updating curriculum vitae, consistently participating in scholarly, professional renewal, and service activities, maintaining a copy of all prepared lecture materials, promoting the goals, objectives and reputation of the SON, participating in continuing education programs, promoting cohesiveness between faculty and students, and participating in recruitment and retention of students in the SON.
Qualifications:Master's degree or higher with a major in nursing and teaching experience. Current unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Arkansas or compact agreement state.
Salary Information:Commensurate with education and experience.
