Summary of

Job Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to organize and coordinate current-student, future-student, and alumni activities for the College. This includes student-oriented events such as competitions, field days, and educational programs; recruitment- and retention-related activities; and alumni events and affairs. Additionally, maintenance of contact databases, out-of-town, overnight travel, and participation in other related activities in support of the College are required. The successful candidate will also assist with the College's fundraising and capacity-building efforts.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a discipline related to the College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources. Experience in youth and environmental education programs is desired. Excellent communication, social media, and organizational skills are required. Candidates must have the ability to collaborate and positively interact with a diverse audience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities would be as follows:

  • 25% Engage with youth for recruiting
  • 25% Engage with Natural Resources and Agricultural stakeholders to aid in recruiting and capacity-building
  • 25% Engage with current students to foster retention
  • 25% Engage with CFANR alumni to aid with recruiting

Salary Information:
Commensurate with qualifications
