PositionUtility Operator - 2nd Shift
Job SummarySupport production and repack operations by moving products and materials throughout the facility. Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers using manual labor or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as assigned. Assist with maintaining cut tables, operating glue and poly machines, labeling and packaging materials, and running grinders.
Pay$14 USD/hr
Schedule- Sunday-Thursday
- 5:00pm-1:00am
- Flexibility is a must – hours subject to change based on production schedule
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material and equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
- Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
- Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
- Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
- Follow environmental and safety policies.
- Comply with procedures, regulations, and instruction of environmental and safety programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
- High degree of self‑motivation and flexibility.
- Analytical and structured work approach.
- Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
- Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
