Job Overview
The United States Postal Service is hiring Mail Processors. No prior experience is required; paid training will be provided. This is an entry‑level position that offers growth opportunities within the organization.
Responsibilities- Sort and handle mail to prepare it for shipment to the next destination.
- Assist in the overall processing of mail at distribution centers and post offices.
- Perform general office duties as required by the postal facility.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required (college degree not required).
- U.S. citizen or green card holder.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry items as needed.
- Hourly pay ranges from $26.47 to $43.62. Average annual salary is approximately $72,400.
- Full benefits package including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, life insurance, and a retirement plan.
