Job Summary: Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admission of Therapy patients. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patients or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database. Distributes appropriate information to Therapy department. The Registration Clerk in Therapy Services is the face of the department and first encounter for most patients, and exemplifies AIDET and uses excellent customer service skills and technique with all patient encounters.

Requirements

Regulatory Requirements:

• Customer service focused.
• Good computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and think critically.
• Experience with billing and insurance preferred.
• One year experience in office setting preferred.
