Length of ContractOne Year (195 Days). The Twin Lakes School Corporation work week shall be Monday thru Friday.
Position Requirements- Demonstrate a genuine concern for the learning of children
- Master's Degree in School Psychology and has or will apply at time of employment for a teacher's license from the Indiana Department of Education.
- Holds a valid School Psychologist License issued by the State of Indiana
- Demonstrate a genuine concern for the learning of children
- Excellent Communication and Team Skills
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Uses a variety of models and methods of assessment and data collection for identifying strengths and needs of individual students and the broader school community, developing effective services and programs and measuring progress and outcomes.
- Provides consultation and collaboration with colleagues, students, families and other stakeholders to promote effective implementation of services.
- Participates on the school student support team that collaboratively provides a multi-tiered system of supports through implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions for all students.
- Uses a variety of assessments and data collection methods to implement and evaluate services that support cognitive and academic skills.
- Uses assessment and data-collection methods to implement and evaluate services that support socialization, learning and mental and behavioral health.
- Shares information on practices and strategies to create and maintain effective and supportive learning environments for students and others including positive behavior interventions and supports.
- Participates on case conference committees to provide and explain assessment data of individual student skill set and learning styles along with determining special education eligibility and services.
- Promotes services that enhance learning, mental and behavioral health, safety and physical well-being through protective and adaptive factors and to implement effective crisis preparation, response and recovery.
- Provides effective professional services that promote effective functioning for individuals, families and schools with diverse characteristics, cultures and backgrounds.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of federal law, IDEA, and Indiana state law, Article 7, and provide services consistent with ethical, legal and professional standards.
