Job Details:

• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts or 36-48 hours for 12-hour shifts

• Patient ratios of 1:5 for MS/PCU Float

• Float required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

• Weekend coverage required

• Self-scheduling available

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date

• Dress code:
Red top, black pants

Cerner

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 9

• Unit has 18 beds/rooms

• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, wound care, IV management, blood product administration, and airway management

• Must be comfortable with isolation precautions and use of rapid response teams

• Previous charge experience preferred
