Job Overview
General Laborer – location:
Monticello, IN. Pay $18–20/hr, 1st shift Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Role is contract assignment typically 3–6 months, with potential extension or direct hire after completion.
- Lift and move materials as directed.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Dig, refill holes, and assist with site cleanup.
- Perform general labor activities as needed.
- Follow directions from supervisors and perform other assigned duties.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 0–4 years of prior related experience.
- Must have 6-inch lace up work boots.
- Physical labor major component; handle objects up to 30 pounds most of the workday.
- Occasional exposure to cuts, burns, or chemicals.
- Occasional exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
- Work conducted primarily outdoors in a manual labor setting.
