1st Shift; 7am-3pm EST;
Monday - Friday
Up to $20.00/hr.Responsibilities:
- Testing all electrical circuits. Circuits would include: switch-gear, power distribution fuel displays and battery charging system & make repairs to such circuits.
- Inspecting all aspects of engine and engine components.
- Mechanical repair of things such as coolant leaks, fuel leaks and fuel probes.
- Responsible for setting up power modules for test to include fueling of the unit, attaching load cables and AC house short power.
- Electrical voltages would include 120, 240, 480, and 600 volts AC. Occasionally higher voltages are required.
- Read and understand schematics
- Basic computer, electrical and mechanical skills
- Understanding of diesel engines and power generators
Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment - Attention to Detail, quality, testing
- Very mechanically inclined.
- * Diesel mechanic is a plus.
