Machine Operator 1st Shift

Job Details

Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour.

1st Shift: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm.

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
• Apply production techniques to produce high-quality building parts.
• Know and follow all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment.
• Operate computerized equipment and material‑handling equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required.
• Mark part number, order number, and quantity on parts; attach identification tags so customers can locate correct parts.
• Use continuous improvement practices in the work area.
• Repeat material handling and sometimes awkward body positioning.
• Climb on and off equipment and ladders repeatedly.
• Work under varying and extreme conditions inside and outside (hot, cold, rain, shine).

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high‑production manufacturing environment.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select correct raw material or semi‑finished parts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
