CNC Operator

Position Title:

CNC Operator Wage: $20.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

5:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday Monticello, IA. QPS Employments is seeking motivated and detail-oriented 1st shift CNC Operators to join a team in Monticello, IA. This role involves operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications. Candidates must maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T, to ensure accuracy
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Load and unload materials and finished parts (up to 50 pounds)
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
• Complete daily production and quality documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

• Previous CNC operating experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Experience using machinist measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, s, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude and professional work ethic
• Willingness to learn, train, and cross-train in multiple areas
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for up to 10 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 pounds
• Equipment used includes CNC machines, micrometers, calipers, step gauges, and s
• Work is performed in a manufacturing/production environment
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
• Must follow all PPE and safety requirements
