Maintenance Tech

Position Title:

Maintenance Tech Wage: $25/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

5:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday Keep advanced CNC equipment running strong in a fast-growing, high-precision Monticello shop. Don’t miss this associate to hire opportunity for a Maintenance Tech role.

Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines (lathes, mills, and related equipment) to minimize downtime

Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and facility equipment

Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner

Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns and recommend corrective actions

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation

Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and equipment

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Work closely with production teams to improve machine efficiency and reliability

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations

Support general facility maintenance as needed (lighting, HVAC, minor repairs, etc.)Maintenance Tech Requirements:2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred)
Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations and components

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels

Equipment used includes CNC machines, hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, multimeters, forklifts

Overtime may be required, including weekends, based on production needs
