Magic Adventures School Age Childcare Program
Montello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities. The Magic Adventures Education Support Specialist supports the planning and implementation of the child care program and its daily activities. Magic Adventures Education Support Specialists will participate and supervise daily activities for students and program areas in accordance with program guidelines, operations, and daily plans.
Assistants will be independently responsible for up to 10 - 15 students.
Job Summary:
Magic Adventures School Age Childcare Program is looking for responsible adults that have a passion for working with children Pre-K
- Grade 5 in our school aged care program. Summer program positions start on June 9, 2026. Program hours are 6 AM - 6 PM Monday
- Friday. Shifts are typically 5-8 hours per day during the summer program. This position is seasonal with the potential to stay on during the school year before and after school program.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Current First Aid & CPR certification or must be obtained with the first 90 days of employment (certification portion provided free of charge by Magic Adventures upon hire) Previous school age child care experience preferred

Skills Required:
Supervise children in assigned areas with daily activities, as delegated. Manage students' behaviors and help to enforce program rules, regulations and safety procedures of the school age childcare program Participate in the cleaning, organizing and set up of games, materials and supplies as needed Record-keeping, including attendance, discipline reports, health and safety reports and other reports as required Positively communicate and interact with parents to include child's arrival and departure.
Knowledge and application of technology Maintain confidentiality of information about students Experience working with diverse students and families
