UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter undergraduate institution located in southeastern Arkansas. The department of Forestry / Agri / Nat. Resourc will host this position.
Summary of
Job Duties:
- Establish an innovative, dynamic, nationally‑recognized research program in ecohydrology.
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding.
- Publish in peer‑reviewed, nationally recognized scientific journals.
- Recruit and mentor graduate students.
- Serve as an advisor for undergraduate students.
- Coordinate or contribute to cooperative research efforts with faculty and regional stakeholders.
- Teach undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in watershed management and related courses supporting the program.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in ecohydrology, forest hydrology, wetlands ecology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality teaching.
- Ability to secure research funding and an active publication record.
- Collaborative skills with faculty, governmental, and non‑governmental organizations.
- Authorized to work in the United States and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Salary Information: Commensurate with education and experience.
