Design Engineer

Sky Water is excited to be partnering with a new manufacturing client in the Northwest metro to help them find their next Design Engineer. They’re a smaller company and pride themselves on a collaborative approach, delivering custom solutions to meet the unique needs of their clients. • Lead and design projects to develop new custom products based on the customer's needs
• Develop new product design based on research and data analysis
• Define the scope and timeline of each project.
• Identify opportunities through cost reduction
• Improve manufacturing efficiencies by analyzing previous product designs
• Manage projects from conception through completion
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Engineering & Production)

• Bachelor s or Associate s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience of design engineering experience
• Sheet Metal experience preferred
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
