School Psychologist

Part-Time | 15 Hours Per Week | $45.00-$60.00 per hour (DOE)

Career Links is seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to provide evaluation, consultation, and support services within a school-based setting. This part-time position offers approximately 15 hours per week and is ideal for a professional who is passionate about supporting student success through assessment, data-driven decision-making, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
• Participate in special education eligibility meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Assist with functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention planning
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements
• Complete documentation and reports within required timelines

Applicants must meet Minnesota licensure requirements for School Psychologists and possess one of the following:

• A valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 School Psychologist License issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB),
  or
• Eligibility to obtain Minnesota School Psychologist licensure prior to the start date.

• Experience conducting school-based evaluations
• Knowledge of special education eligibility criteria and due process requirements
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with behavioral assessment and intervention planning
• Familiarity with Minnesota special education procedures and compliance requirements
