Press Brake Operator

Twin City Staffing is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Monticello, MN! The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press machines to bend, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications. If you have mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with metal fabrication, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

Location:
Monticello, MN

Pay: $20 - $35/hr., depending on experience

Shifts available:

• 1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday
• 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday

Duties of the press brake operator:

• Setup and operate brake press machines for bending and shaping metal
• Adjust stops, change dies, and configure machine components for multiple or successive passes
• Measure finished work pieces using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and rulers to ensure specifications are met
• Read work orders or blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the press brake operator:

• Proficient with precision measuring tools, including calipers, squares, gauges, and protractors
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints efficiently
• Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, walk, stand for extended periods, lift/carry, and push/pull materials
