This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until filled or adjusted based on the volume of applicants.

As a Material Handler, you’re a member of an assigned production crew, reporting to the Plant Warehouse Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

Swing Shift

Schedule:

4 days-on-4 days off, 7AM/PM-7PM/AM. Schedule rotates every 9 weeks.

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including food safety, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures.
• Operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials, scrap, finished goods, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Effectively communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and customers.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

• High School Diploma or education equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment.

• 3 or more years of operation and maintenance of forklift.
• Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management.
• Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse or ERP system.

May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to:

• Hot/Cold working conditions.
• Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
• Climbing (stairs, catwalks, and other equipment as necessary).

• $27.89 per hour.
