Overview

Operate injection molding machine to produce plastic products.

• Read, understand, and perform the processes stated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Review press samples to understand and be able to identify conforming or non-conforming product.
• Complete the initial Quality inspection of the product being produced and determine if it is conforming or non-conforming product.
• Communicate immediately with supervisor and/or quality control when non-conforming product is identified.
• Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customers' specifications.
• Accurately record scrap and rejects on production data entry sheet.
• Prepare, tape, and tare weigh boxes.
• Ensure workstation is clean and orderly.
• Adhere to attendance policy and break schedule.
• Any other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Able to operate hand-held tools, including trimming knife, de-burring tool, jigs and fixtures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Maintain safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
