Registered Nurse or LPN

Cura Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work on the floor either fulltime or part time positions available. There is a every other weekend requirement. This vital role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting the healthcare team to ensure excellent outcomes during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and able to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on the floor, providing support, education, medications and treatments.
• Assess patients' health status, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes or concerns to supervisors as appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
• Encourage and empower NAR staff in their work with residents and ADLs as the shift leaders on the floor.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability to work every other weekend as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
