Overview

In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions and attitude to deliver excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications; ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and guidance as necessary.
  • Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns in alignment with company values.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer and Supervising Physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients  histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with emphasis on patient-centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information.
  • Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with department expectations and Federal/State regulations, including HIPAA knowledge.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Adhere to standard NP protocols and complete mandatory compliance training to meet quality of care standards.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising Physicians and participate in E/M training as required.
  • Support ongoing learning and development of new employees and participate in onboarding activities as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education:

    Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Experience:

    At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine Facility, ER/Trauma, or Family Practice strongly preferred).
  • Licenses/Certifications:

    Active license and DEA in good standing; DEA required for all providers and to be obtained within 120 days of meeting minimum years of practice per state law. Ability to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements; DOT certification required for FT and PT Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
Work Environment and Telehealth
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment in both in-patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Ability to engage a queue of telehealth patients and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Ability to consult with patients through virtual channels and maintain professional conduct across channels.
Other Requirements
  • On-call periodically throughout the year for Ancillary Providers where applicable.
  • On-site and telehealth responsibilities may require weekend shifts and varying schedules as defined by the role and staffing needs.
