Retail & Store Manager, Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking
Responsibilities
- Assist with store functions and day‑to‑day activities.
- Provide positive customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Organize merchandise, transfer items from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor, and maintain seasonal areas.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Process corporate directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey, etc.) and related communications.
- Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays.
- Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts).
- Maintain store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- Maintain store security, including cash and assets.
- Ensure staff follows safety guidelines and company policies.
- Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
- Maintain a positive, safe, respectful, and friendly environment for customers and associates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute operational directives.
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
