We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team in a fast-paced and growing multi-million dollar company. This position will play a key role in supporting the month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to grow their accounting career in a collaborative environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue, expenses, accruals, and general ledger activity.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other transactional accounting activities as needed.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as assigned by management.

• Minimum 1 year of general accounting experience; strong internship experience will be considered.
• Experience in a corporate accounting environment or public accounting firm preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in a multi-entity or high-growth environment and exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis a plus.
• Strong desire to learn and take on increasing responsibilities.

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Montoursville, PA office
