- $5,000 | 2-year commitment | Recent graduates and LPNs with 0-1 years of experience
- $7,500 | 2-year commitment | LPNs with 1+ years of experience
Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.
Responsibilities- Draw blood.
- Administer medications, including oral, SQ, IM, and IV drip therapies.
- Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Assess patients' general condition, including vital signs and weight.
- Promote wellness through patient education and by communicating physician instructions and recommendations.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, patient and family responses, and medications in the medical record.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those established by OSHA, CLIA, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
- Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
- Current Pennsylvania nursing license, or a multistate license issued by an NLC‑participating state. Employees working on an out‑of‑state NLC license who later establish residency in Pennsylvania must apply for a PA Nursing license within 60 days of their residency change.
