The City of Montpelier is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role maintains financial integrity by overseeing the annual audit, reconciliations, and daily accounting operations.
The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have experience with government or fund accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and accounting software;
Excel and Word proficiency is required. A hybrid schedule may be considered.
