Black River Design, Architects in Montpelier, VT is seeking a Designer/Draftsperson. This is a long-term career opportunity in a collegial, collaborative, design environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to take the initiative and work efficiently within project deadlines to create, review and coordinate design and construction documents.
A creative outlook, experience with CAD, strong communication skills, and hand sketching would be assets.
Requirements- 1 to 3 years of Architectural office experience preferred
- Professional degree or diploma preferred
- Commitment to sustainable design and design excellence
- Strong attention to details, organization, and accuracy
- Experience with commercial construction detailing preferred
- Experience drafting construction documents and specifications
- Familiarity with coordinating consultant drawings
- Effective written and spoken communication skills
- Positive and collaborative attitude

Pay range: $50,000 to $70,000 depending on experience
