Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed and certified School Psychologist opportunity is available in Montpelier, VT, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. This contract position offers the chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic school setting, supporting the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes
- Current school psychologist license and certification
- Experience working within elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in working with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a contract role
