The Early Education Division at the Agency of Education is seeking an Education Programs Coordinator II to serve as a subject matter expert and statewide leader for Vermont's Universal Prekindergarten (UPK) systems under Act 166.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze, plan, and coordinate multiple regulatory frameworks, including Act 166, State Board of Education Rule Series 2600 (Prekindergarten Education), the Agency of Education's Education Quality Standards, and the Agency of Human Services Child Development Division Child Care Licensing Regulations.
• Collaborate with other state organizations such as the Child Development Division and Building Bright Futures to ensure coherence across systems.
• Maintain compliance with state statute and advance a high-quality, equitable prekindergarten system.

• A master's degree in education, public administration, or related field is preferred but not required; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Education Programs Coordinator I or in a professional role involving program development, supervision, or leadership in a public or private agency.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
