Job DescriptionWashington Central UUSD is looking for an anticipated Site Coordinator to cover Doty Memorial and Rumney Memorial School for our Community Connections program. Positions may be 20 to 40 hours depending on school coverage. The Site Coordinator will work with the Director on programming, staffing, registration and enrollment processes. The position requires supervising programs at designated work sites for before/after school programs and camps.
The ideal candidate has knowledge of or is willing to learn the child care regulations of the location as well as activity planning, staffing, financial management, and working directly with students in preschool through 6th grade.
Positions are for the school year calendar and additional work during summer and school vacations. Some in-service and camp days may be required. May be able to combine with other positions to increase hours per week.
The Community Connections program offers enriching and fun activities for students both before and after school. We also operate a licensed preschool at some of these school locations that cares for preschool aged children. We offer camps during the summer and on school in-service days. The Site Coordinator would help to manage all of these programs at the local school(s).

Summer Camps/Programs
- Bachelor’s degree and educational experience preferred OR Associates Degree with a major or concentration in a field related to early childhood education with 10 months of experience OR other Certificates deemed appropriate by Vermont State Licensing Dept.
- Continuing professional development is required.
- Candidate must show demonstrated ability in program design, supervision, and some budgeting. Administrative experience recommended. A minimum of three years’ experience interacting or working with children required.
