The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation Stormwater Program is seeking candidates for a position in the Construction & Industrial Stormwater Permitting Section.
Primary job duties include:
* Providing technical and analytical review of State Construction Stormwater Discharge Permits which regulates runoff from construction-related activities.
* Providing education and outreach assistance for erosion prevention and sediment control of construction sites, including in-field assistance.
* Ensuring compliance with applicable construction stormwater permit regulations by overseeing inspections, reporting requirements, and contributing to enforcement actions.
* Representing the Construction & Industrial Stormwater Permitting Section in public hearings and legal proceedings.
* Ensuring that general permits and other regulatory documents remain up to date and valid.
